Dead Rising 3 for PC confirmed, coming in September

As has been heavily suspected for a little bit now, Capcom confirmed this morning that Dead Rising 3 is in fact shambling it’s way to PC this September by way of Steam. Preorders are open now, should you want to get a hold of it in advance, and thanks to Steam’s currently-running 24 hour sale, the price has been discounted 25% to $37.49, as opposed to the $49.99 regular price that you’d have to pay any other day.

 

Capcom also provided the specs required to play the game, which is set to run at 30 frames per second, but it is expected that most players will be able to run it uncapped under most conditions depending on what hardware is being used. The Specs for the game read as follows:

Minumum:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit addition, Windows 8 64-bit addition
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-3220 at 3.30 GHZ, (or Intel Core 2 Quad, Q9550 at 2.83 GHZ/AMD Phenom II X4 945 at 3.00 GHZ or higher
  • Memory: 6 GB of RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 570/AMD Radeon 7870 or higher
  • Direct X: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet Connection
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB of available space
  • Sound Card: Direct X 11 compatible sound card
  • Additional Notes: Broadband internet connection required for Co-op play
