Gamescom 2013: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 and The Order: 1866

Finally, the much anticipated, and hopefully much improved, sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has a release date. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC all on February 25, 2014.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was a fun take on the Castlevania series with impressive graphics, combos and enemies, but it doesn’t take long for the graphics and fighting to grow stale in this long and repetitive game. It appears that the developers have sought to shake things up in this new game by introducing a multitude of new mechanics that the player will have to uncover and unlock, to keep the game feeling fresh. We’re looking forward to it!

 

There’s also the small tidbit of information regarding the PlayStation 4’s exclusive title, The Order:1886. This title has now been promised at some point in 2014, but we’re still not sure when. The title looked interesting at E3, so hopefully it’ll be coming out sooner rather than later.
