PS4 Launch Double The Size Of PS3 Launch In Australia

EB Games Australia has stated in a press release that the launch of the PS4 has “surpassed the size of the PlayStation 3 by more than double.” The demand is so high in the land down under that they are currently accepting restock pre-orders for when they become available in early 2014.

The launch of the PlayStation 4 saw 321 stores open for a midnight launch, as well as cosplayers coming out to increase the launch day hype, making the crowd “electric.” Their very first pre-order for the console came on July 5, 2011 – years before the console was even officially revealed by Sony. If that doesn’t show fan dedication, then I don’t know what does.
