Don’t expect Halo 5 on PC anytime soon, says 343 Industries
In an interview with Eurogamer posted this morning, Head Developer of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross confirmed that the Halo Franchise, for now at least, is sticking exclusively to Xbox One for the foreseeable future, telling the news outlet and PC fans hoping to jump back into the fold as Master Chief sometime soon:
“We’re listening to the PC fans, but right now this is all focused on Xbox One.”
It was also confirmed in the interview that Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Which features complete and instant access to all four core Halo games and a code for the beta to Halo 5: Guardians, would not becoming to Xbox 360 because bundling together all four games, as well as all of their multiplayer maps, would of been “too much for the Xbox 360 to handle.”
Halo, of course has made two previous appearances on PC, in the form of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2003 and Halo 2 in 2007.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to release November 11, While Halo 5: Guardians will hit Xbox One sometime around Fall 2015.
