360 Headset Adapter For Xbox One

Xbox 360 owners can use their headsets (from the 360) on the Xbox One. An adapter will allow current headsets for the Xbox 360 to work with the Xbox One. The adapter was confirmed on Twitter by Alberto Penello, the Xbox One’s lead planned.

Sadly, the adapter won’t be included with the Xbox One. The adapter will have to be bought separately. No details were given about the price of the adapter, all we know is that “it’s an accessory”.

It’s still unsure if Xbox One consumers will receive a headset when they buy their Xbox One. Rumours suggest that they won’t, and with this 360 adapter confirmed, it’s seems even more unlikely. I doubt Microsoft would include a headset with the Xbox One and sell an adapter as an optional accessory, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
