Dark Souls 2 is Rated “Teen” by the ESRB

With the release of Dark Souls 2 right around the corner, the ESRB has finally released their rating of the upcoming game, awarding it a rather surprising “T” rating. With the previous games in the Souls franchise being awarded a solid “M” rating, many fans of the series are beginning to panic, thinking that the upcoming sequel may change the formula a bit too much.



However, after reading the descriptions for the game over on the ESRB website, I’m pretty certain in saying that the game is still as disturbing as ever. According to the ESRB the game includes “Blood and Gore, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, Violence”, and even goes on to spoil quite a few of the bosses that can be found in the game. So I wouldn’t recommended reading it if you like surprises.
