Dark Souls II PC Release Date Announced
An announcement was made today on the Dark Souls Facebook page regarding the PC version of Dark Souls II. The game will release on April 25th, almost one and a half months after its console counterparts. The extra wait that PC gamers will have to endure will not be in vain as FromSoftware have been working hard to make sure the games plays well on mouse and keyboard. As you would expect with a PC release, Dark Souls II will sport increased texture resolutions and an enhanced frame rate over its console brethren.
Pre-order incentives are in place for both physical and Steam versions of the game. The physical edition will come in a exclusive metal case, a copy of the original game soundtrack and early access to the ‘Black Armour Weapon Set’. The Steam version of Dark Souls II will include a digital soundtrack, the ‘Official Dark Souls II Artbook‘, a digital comic book as well as the aforementioned ‘Black Armour Weapon Set’.
If you can’t wait until April 25th the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Dark Souls II will ship on March 11th in North America and March 14th in Europe and Australia.
