Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Releasing Soon On Mobile Devices
Rockstar announced today that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be ported to iOS, Android, and other mobile devices next month. This is more than likely due in large part to the tremendous success of Grand Theft Auto V, which broke all kinds of records when it released in September. It’s following in the footsteps of the ports of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
The San Andreas port will feature some apparent improvements over the original version such as a tweaked checkpoint system, better draw distance, crisper visuals, and new character and car models. It will also include iOS 7 controller compatibility and new touch controls.
No exact price or release date have been announced yet. It’ll probably cost around $15, which is how much it costs on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
