Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix Announced
Square Enix has officially announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix is currently in development and is slated for a 2014 release in North America. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix is a compilation of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on the PlayStation 2 and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep on the PSP fully remastered in HD. Previously only exclusive to Japan, the game will now be coming to the West on the PlayStation 3. Also included in the game will be cutscenes from the Nintendo DS title Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
The game picks up straight from the conclusion of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix. Players will be able to continue their journey as Sora, Goofy, and Donald Duck, as well as exploring the origins of the Kingdom Hearts series as Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. With improved gameplay mechanics and graphics, players will be able to replay previous entries in the franchise in anticipation for the release of Kingdom Hearts III on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
