Microsoft Finally Obtains Domains
After filing a complaint back in May, Microsoft finally obtained the domains XboxOne.com and XboxOne.net, according to Fusible. Before the Xbox One reveal, Microsoft owned neither websites. Afterwards, Microsoft instantly lodged a complaint in a desperate attempt to acquire the domains.
Microsoft filed the dispute with the National Arbitration Forum in May, wanting to obtain the websites from a UK resident who owns both sites. The domains were registered back in 2011 to the UK resident but were unused.
Recently Nintendo was denied ownership of the domain Wii U.com, which was a surprise to many. Sony doesn’t have ownership of the domain PlayStation4.com, but have yet to file a complaint.
