Mutant Mudds Made Most of its Revenue on 3DS
About a week back, Jools Watsham, creator of the acclaimed platformer Mutant Mudds, indicated via Twitter that his creation has sold more on the 3DS than on any other platform. This is the second indie developer in the past few weeks to reveal the 3DS is their prime source of sales figures.Â
@tyronerodriguez @tha_rami @BertilHrberg @voldiway We’ve made more revenue on 3DS than all other platforms combined with Mudds. Viva eShop!

With Retro City Rampage coming to the 3DS soon, we may start seeing an increased number of indie developers looking to Nintendo’s handheld as their primary development platform. Considering the console’s strong sales lately, I could see that being a practical endeavor for many. Personally, my fingers are still crossed for Spelunky 3D.
