Radirgy de Gojaru! heading to Japanese eShop
Radirgy, the Japanese exclusive shoot-em-up from the now defunct Milestone Inc., will be making an appearance in the Japanese eShop in the form of Radirgy de Gojaru!, thanks to the efforts of Klon Co.
The game has been published on the Dreamcast, PS2, and Wii since it’s 2005 debut on the Sega Naomi, though none of those ports have seen a western release. It should come as no surprise, then, that there is no word yet on Radirgy de Gojaru!  being available in the western eShop.
As a fan of niche bullet hell games, I’m disappointed that we probably won’t be seeing the game in the states anytime soon. Still, if enough people rally for an international release, anything’s possible. Xseed successfully brought some of the best games on the Wii overseas, so it’s not crazy to think that a well publicized petition could sway the publisher to broaden their horizon.
No information on pricing has been mentioned, but the release date is confirmed to be February 19th, 2014.
If Radirgy were to be brought overseas, would you give it a download? Check out the trailer for the original Dreamcast version below.
