The Forest Gets Spookier With Some New Screenshots
First off, if you haven’t seen the latest trailer for the independently developed open-world horror game The Forest, you should totally spend the time to do so (below the screenshots). It’s already one of my top most anticipated games of 2014, and it’s most recent batch of screenshots, viewable below, have got my heart yearning for a scare.

As the lone survivor of a plane crash, The Forest challenges eager players to scavenge the island, setting up a series of defensive structures and traps all the while fending off a horde of cannibalistic natives. The developers of The Island haven’t announced a release date yet, but instead promised to release an alpha in the coming months.
