There’s A Manual Way To Brick Your Xbox One
We do not recommend you do this. Please, do not attempt this. It does not make your Xbox One backwards compatible. What it does is make your console continuously reboot over and over again, rendering your console useless. However, the reason we’re posting this is to let others know that this isn’t possible – you cannot make your Xbox One backwards compatible to play Xbox 360 games. If you come across this image elsewhere, don’t believe it – you’ll just end up with a figuratively dead Xbox One.
The bigger question people should be asking is, “Why is this possible for people to do?” Isn’t this a feature that should have been taken out before the console launched. If people found this exploit, who knows what other possibilities could arise from using this? Hopefully a patch can be released in the very near future to disable access to this feature.
