Twitch Announces Beta Group Chat
Popular video game streaming website Twitch.tv has announced a group chat beta for private rooms today.
These chat rooms are going to be invite-only and will be separate from the traditional chat options that regular Twitch.tv users will be used to.
During the beta period, starting today, the feature will be available to members of the Twitch Partner Program. The partners will be the only people able to create their own private rooms, but all users will be able to be invited into the rooms.
For now, the feature will only be available in a desktop web browser, but future options will be explored by the company as the beta expands.
