Video Game Awards on Steam
Anyone who is planning to watch Spike Video Game Awards will be able to view the program on almost any device this year. Â The upcoming Video Game Awards airs live on December 7 via cable, satellite, consoles, mobile devices and live streaming across multiple websites, but there is another place to watch the show as well; Steam.
The PC gaming store Steam will also serve as a hub for live streaming through both the computer application and the website. The streaming hub, found by clicking the banner at the top of Steam’s home page, features a list of all the nominees by category and a limited sale on nominated games.
AAA titles, such as Tomb Raider (2013) and Metro: Last Light, will be on sale as well as a few indie games including Papers, Please and The Stanley Parable. Download pricing ranges from $4.99 up to $49.79.
The Video Game Awards air on Saturday, November 7 at 6PM ET and 3PM PT. For more information on the show and viewing options, visit the Spike website.
