Watch Dogs is said to feature an 8-player free roam mode. Confirmed by Jonathan Morin, the creative director of the game, on Twitter, now you can run about Chicago with friends (or strangers if you wish) and wreak hacking havoc on the masses. No specific details were given but when asked if the game contained an 8-player multiplayer free roam mode, he simply replied “yes.”


Hopefully we’ll hear more about this free roam mode soon. Until then, we can only imagine a bunch of hackers running all over the streets of Chicago invading citizens privacy as well as bringing a whole new meaning to the term “traffic jam.” Are you prepared to enter a sea of hackable devices when the game releases on May 27?
