Painkiller: Hell and Damnation Review
Rock music, mobs of enemies, and the onslaught of explosions and giblets everywhere as you continue your dealthy rampage, with some interesting ideas late in the game.
Story outright sucks, voice acting is terrible, slowdown issues occur during boss battles, brain dead enemy AI and extremely short campaign.
Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is just one of those games where you have to turn your brain off to enjoy it. Just like watching a mindless B-slasher flick, you're in it for the blood, guts, and gore, and not an intelligent story or interesting characters. The levels are cliche', the guns are, honestly weird, and the enemies love to bum rush you, but all in all, Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is an enjoyable game, albeit in short spurts.
Check out Justin as he reviews Painkiller: Hell and Damnation, and talks about how this title can be tedious throwback to the games of yore, but still fun on occasions. Well, a little fun. Okay, just barely fun.
