Zombeer Review
The colorful visuals and somewhat oddball unique level design and characters.
Everything else. The game chugs. Lack of weapon feedback. Animations are basic. Quick-time events that lead to death. Lame jokes. Frustrating beer drinking mechanic. Did I mention EVERYTHING ELSE?
I came in expecting to have a somewhat guilt-free experience with a game that could have been mildly fun and amusing. I walked away with my head hung low, my frustration levels high, and deleted Zombeer from my PlayStation 3. This one should have stayed dead, unfortunately.
Ride to Hell: Retribution ain’t got nothin’ on this one here, no siree. Zombeer might be one of the most stressful (and not for the right reasons) game you’ll play in 2014. I mean, SlasherJPC was brought to his knees with keeping up with the chugging frame rates, the boring yet aggressive zombies, and a “Zombeer” meter that keeps you micromanaging when you don’t need to. And let’s not forget the dildo in your face. That’s one for the books right there. Check out SlasherJPC’s thoughts about the game below:
